Imphal, January 27 2026:
The G-5 comprising KCP, KYKL, PREPAK, PREAPAK-Pro and the Koireng-led UNLF has imposed an indefinite ban on two oil pumps namely; Sorojini Oil pump, Wangbal and M/S Elidas Fuel Station, Moirang Thana Leikai.
A joint statement issued by the finance committees of the five outfits said that they sent one of their members to talk with Thokchom Jadumani, proprietor of Sorojini Oil Pump on November 26, 2025 over the G-5's request for an annual financial assistance of Rs 1.5 lakh.
But Thokchom Jadumani of Khangabok not only abused the G-5 member with harsh words but also overpowered the member using his security escorts with an intention to hand over the member to police commandos.
The security forces also started thrashing the member mercilessly but he somehow managed to snatch a weapon from one of the security escorts and hijack their Gypsy.
Thus he escaped from being arrested.
The G-member left the security escort's weapon at the same oil pump and the Gypsy at Heirok.
Although it has been over two months since the incident took place, Th Jadumani has not bothered to admit his offence, it said.
A similar request for an annual financial assistance of Rs 1.5 lakh was sent to Konjengbam Jiten of Moirang Thana Leikai, proprietor of M/S Elidas Fuel Station but Jiten openly challenged the revolutionary movement by stationing security forces at his oil pump.As a first warning, a bomb was set off on January 8, 2026 at M/S Elidas Fuel Station in such a manner that no civilian was injured.Instead of admitting his fault, K Jiten caused the arrest of G-5 members, it said.
It then appealed to proprietors of all other oil pumps not to support Thokchom Jadumani and Konjengbam Jiten or act like them against the revolutionary movement.
It also appealed to all the people to avoid Sorojini Oil Pump and M/S Elidas Fuel Station.
Conveying gratitude to all the people who provided financial assistance to the revolutionary movement, the G-5 finance committees said that they never made unaffordable monetary demands to any businessman/contractor/private sector.
A revolutionary organisation is like a Government and it has the right to collect tax from every section and punish those who refuse to pay tax, added the G-5 finance committees.
