Imphal, October 07 2025: As many as 26 BJP MLAs including exChief Minister N Biren and Manipur Legislative Assembly Speaker Th Satyabrata held a meeting at Manipur Bhavan, SP Marg, Delhi today on their quest to form a popular Government in the State.

The meeting deliberated on seeking appointments with key BJP Central leaders and convincing them to install a popular Government in Manipur.

Though it could not be confirmed, it was said that some Kuki MLAs were present at the meeting.

Sources said that the BJP MLAs will meet BJP North East Coordinator Sambit Patra tomorrow at Manipur Bhavan, SP Marg, Delhi before seeking appointments with key BJP Central leaders like Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National president JP Nadda.

It is said that Sambit Patra will assist the BJP MLAs in seeking appointments with key BJP Central leaders.

In the meantime, some BJP MLAs met BJP National General Secretary (Organization) BL Santosh yesterday.

The MLAs who were present at today's meeting were N Biren, L Susindro, Th Shyamkumar, Kh Ibomcha, RK Imo, H Dingo, Dr S Ranjan, S Kunjakeswor (Keba), Karam Shyam, Konthoujam Govindas, Th Basantakumar, Th Satyabrata.

Y Khemchand, L Rameshwor, Kh Raghu-mani, S Premchandra, Dr Usham Deben, SS Olish, Dinganglung Gangmei (Dipu), Th Biswajit, Kh Joykisan, Th Arunkumar, S Kebi, K Robindro, T Robin-dro and Paonam Brojen.

However, Th Radheshyam, Dr Y Radheshyam, S Rajen and Md Achab Uddin were not present at the meeting.
