Imphal, June 29 2025: Bahujana Sahitya Academy (National Committee of India), Manipur State, Celine Digital and Gyanratna Sahitya Academy Manipur State Branch jointly organised an award distribution-cum-felicitation function for Bahujana Sahitya Academy National Awards-2024 at Manipur Press Club here on Sunday.

The function was attended by Imphal West ZP chairperson Laishram Boby Devi, Celine Digital chairman and Bahujana Sahitya Academy Manipur president Phanjoubam Lanajit Singh as president, and Dr Ksh Kala Singh, IRE Group of Institutions, Wangjing principal Dr N Rajiv Kumar Singh, social worker Elangbam Sobit Singh, and Tamenglong DFO Kharibam Hitler Singh as guests of honour.

As part of the function, a two-minute silence was observed for all the martyrs of the state, followed by cultural performances by artistes of Kanglei Jagoi Anoy Leikai.

In all, 17 people working in different fields were honoured with the awards.
