'World Deaf Blind Day' held

Imphal, June 27 2025: Handicapped Development Foundation, Manipur observed the first World Deaf Blind Day at Pioneer Club, Lam-deng Makha Leikai on Friday.

As part of the observance, gifts were presented to students with special needs, who passed the JRF, and excelled in the Class X & XII examinations as encouragement.

The observance was attended by DM College of Arts Philosophy Department assistant professor Dr Chungkham Bheigyachandra Singh; IRE-Group of Institutions, Wangjing principal Dr Narengbam Rajivkumar; HD Foundation, Manipur chairman Dr Sapam Jasowanta Singh; IMC Ward No.6 Corporator Tourangbam Inderjit Meetei; and Pioneer Club president Khundrakpam Lokendro Singh as presidium members.
