Imphal, July 25 2025: Security forces arrested four cadres of the armed group KCP (PWG) from Wabagai area under Kakching police station on Wednesday.

In a release, Manipur Police Control Room identified the arrested quartet as Laishram Nanao Singh (41) of Wabagai Mairengbam Leikai, Mayengbam Shanjit Singh (51) and Khaidem Rajesh Singh (45) -of Wabagai Tera Urak, in Kakching district; and Laishram Ranjit Meitei alias Tamnganba (51) of Yurembam Awang Leikai, Imphal West district.

From their possession one .32 pistol, four mobile phones and one COMET 10x50 DPSI binocular were recovered.

Meanwhile, security forces conducted search operation in Saiden area under Churachandpur police station on Thursday, recovering one each.22 rifle, 9mm carbine with magazine, 9mm pistol with magazine, 12 Bore rifle, single barrel rifle bolt action type, long range modified mortar/pompi, and smoke grenade, six SB rifles, three live bombs of pompi, two Baofeng handsets and ammunition of various calibres, it added.
