IIE, Guwahati marks 10 years of Skill India Mission

Imphal, July 21 2025: Skill India Mission, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 15, 2015, marks a decennial completion in 2025 .

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship encourages all departments, training centres, institutions, partners, and stakeholders to actively organise Jan Bhagidari activities between July 15 and 21 .

Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), Guwahati, an autonomous organisation under the Ministry, also extended warm greetings and appreciation on the occasion.

The main aim of the institute is to provide training, research and consultancy activities in Small and Micro Enterprises (SME), with special focus on entrepreneurship development across the north eastern states and other parts of India.

In Manipur, in recent years, HE has successfully implemented projects like PMKVY 4.0, SANKALP Schemes, PM-SURYAGHAR, MSME-SFURTI and MSECDP and short-term courses like MDP, EAP and ESDP and other trainings, informed a statement from ME, Guwahati.
