Baby girl found at MMKS cradle point

Imphal, July 08 2025: A new-born baby girl was found dropped at the cradle point of MMKS children Home, Dewlahland around 2.30 pm on July 2 .

In a release, Department of Social Welfare's District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Imphal East informed that the condition of the child is being closely monitored by healthcare professionals at the JNIMS Hospital, Porompat in coordination with the Imphal East DCPU and Specialised Adoption Agency (SAA), Imphal East.

Any person/persons intending to claim the said child may do so by furnishing relevant document of proof to support the identity and their relationship with the child within 60 days from the date of publication, the release continued, while urging all concerned to contact SAA Imphal East on 9856863953, PO (NIC), DCPU 7085247502, CWC Imphal East 8787564077 and child line 1098, if there is any information regarding the child.
