Meritorious students of Haokramband HS feted

Bishnupur, May 17 2025: Meritorious students of Haokramband High School in Kabowakching Nambol a government school, were felicitated at a function held on the school campus for successfully clearing the HSLC Examination 2025 conducted by BoSEM.

The school achieved a 100 percent pass rate.

Of the 20 students who appeared for the examination, 15 secured first division, while the remaining 5 passed with second division.

Additionally, 8 students received letter marks in various subjects.

The function was attended by Bishnupur ZEO A Gunamani Devi and Haokramband High School head master Ng Tomchou Singh as chief guest and president respectively, while CI College Bishnupur retired associate professor N Ibopishak Mangang, Modern Club Kabowakching president S Rameshwar Meitei and Haokramband High school Hindi graduate teacher M Bhakta Singh were the guest of honour.

Speaking on the occasion, A Gunamani stated that out of the 28 government schools that appeared for the board examination, 8 achieved a hundred percent pass rate.

He expressed hope that Haokramband High School would continue to bring laurels to government schools.

Assuring of providing all necessary infrastructure to enable the school to accommodate more students, he urged the school authority to aim for enrollment of over 500 students annually.
