Lions Club organises blood donation camp

Imphal, August 13 2025: Lions Club of Imphal Greater organised a voluntary blood donation camp at Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) Blood Bank & Transfusion Unit on Wednesday.

The camp organised under the theme 'Give Blood, Give Life - A Tribute to Our Patriots' was the 36th blood donation camp organised by Lions Club of Imphal Greater, Lions Club International District 322D.During the camp organised in association with JNIMS Blood Bank & Transfusion Unit, members of Lions Club of Imphal Greater, members of JNIMS Students' Association, MBBS students and others donated blood.

Speaking in connection with the camp, project chairman Dr K Surjit Singh informed that lions clubs around the world have been organising mass blood donation camp on regular basis.

He stated that the club plans to hold more such blood donation camps in the near future.

The event was also attended by Lions Club of Imphal Greater president Ashok Lairen, secretary Tarun Thokchom and senior member Arun Thongam.
