Burglars loot Langjing home

Imphal, May 05 2025: Unknown persons burglarised a home in Langjing Achouba Maning under Patsoi police station and made off with Rs 2 lakh in cash and some gold jewelleries.

According to a report, the burglary occurred on May 3 at the residence of one Khomdram Bhanupati w/o Khomdram Somen of Langjing Achouba Maning.

Bhanupati had gone to attend the birthday party of a relative's grandson at Kwakeithel Moirangpurel on May 3 and returned home the next day.

On her return, Bhanupati saw that the house had been ransacked and the money and gold jewellery stored inside the Godrej missing.

The burglars also stole the CCTV cameras installed at the house.

In this regard, Bhanupati filed a report at Patsoi PS on Sunday and the police have launched an investigation.
