Imphal, July 04 2025: Manipuri Sahitya Parishad announced recipients of various awardees, presented in memory of and dedication to literary figures, for the year 2025 .

In a release, the Parishad declared that the Ashangbam Minaketan award will be conferred to Nahakpam Aruna of Keishamthong Elangbam Leikai for her book 'Ahingba Upaniyas' (Essay), Ayekpam Shyamsundar award to Raheijuddin Sheikh (Shamu) of Sangaiyumpham Puleipokpi Mairenkhul, Wangjing for his book 'Dasu Sardar' (Drama) and Elangbam Dinamani award to Dr Athokpam Khelchandra of Wangkhei Ningthempukhri Mapal, Imphal for his book 'Manipuri Lilamacha Neinaba' (Essay).

The awards, consisting of cash prize and citations, will be distributed during the 90th annual meeting of Manipuri Sahitya Parishad to be held in August second week.
