15 new Covid-19 cases detected

Imphal, June 27 2025: The number of COVID-19 cases in the state rose to 217, including 135 active cases, after 15 new positive cases were detected on Friday.

So far, 29 people have been discharged.

In the last 24 hours, 60 samples were tested of which 15 tested positive and the positivity rate is at 25.0 per cent.

Around 124 people are in home isolation, while the rest are in hospitals.

The new positive cases were detected in Imphal West (9), Imphal East (3), Thoubal (2) and Bishnupur (1) districts.

The Health Department is continuing contact tracing of the positive cases.

Meanwhile, 369 people tested positive at the national level in the last 24 hours, with four deaths, 3256 active cases and 666 discharged.

Around 23,582 people have been discharged and 135 fatalities reported since January 1 .
