MASTEC plans science motivational prog in June

Imphal, May 27 2025: A three-day science motivational programme for talented school students of the state organised by Manipur Science & Technology Council (MASTEC) will be held from June 12 at the MASTEC Complex, Takyelpat.

According to MASTEC director Dr Kh Rakesh, the programme aims to facilitate the students explore the exciting world of science and motivate them to take up science as career.

The main feature of the programme includes invited lectures, visit to scientific institutions/labs, hands-on activities, face-to-face interaction of students with scientists, etc .

The target participants will be students presently studying in Class IX, said the director in a release, while informing interested government and private schools to nominate two each top ranking students in the prescribed form obtainable from MASTEC office or its website https://mastec.nic.in .

The last date for submission of duly filled in application forms to the MASTEC office shall be June 10 .

The enrolment of participants will be on first come first serve basis till the seat lasts.
