TYCM apprises TA&H Dir on tribal issues

Imphal, July 25 2025: A delegation from the Tribal Youth Council Manipur (TYCM), General Headquarters, met with the director of the Tribal Affairs & Hills (TA&H) Department on Friday.

The eight-member TYCM, delegation led by president Momo Tantanga held a two-hour-long meeting at the TA&H Directorate's office during which the delegation engaged in comprehensive discussions with the director, highlighting a range of challenges confronting the tribal communities of Manipur.

Among the key matters raised were the acute shortage of manpower in the Directorate and other pressing concerns affecting tribal welfare.

The meeting also focused on exploring viable mechanisms to address and resolve the grievances of the tribal population, according to a press release from the TYCM-GHQ .
