IDPs outside relief camps advised registration

Imphal, June 19 2025: As an initiative to maintain a comprehensive database for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) affected by the ongoing law and order crisis in the state since May 3, 2023, all the IDPs residing outside the relief camps of Imphal West district are informed to contact officials concerned to facilitate capturing of details of the IDPs latest by June 25, 2025 .

According to a circular the home department is conducting an exercise of capturing data of IDPs residing in the state through a portal developed by the IT Department.

This exercise will cover both the categories of IDPs staying in the relief camps as well as those staying at various places outside the relief camps.

As a part of the exercise, the district administration, Imphal West has started and nearing completion of capturing the data of the IDPs staying at the various relief camps.

In this regard, all the IDPs residing outside the relief camps of Imphal West district are informed to contact officials of the jurisdiction concerned to facilitate the capturing of details of the IDPs within a week's time.
