10-day Yoga training class underway

Bishnupur, May 16 2025: A 10-day yoga class for beginners organised by Vivekananda Kendra, Manipur Vibhag commenced from Friday at Okshongbung Upper Primary School, Moirang.

The yoga class aimed at addressing stressful condition of the internally displaced persons (IDPs) and the public is being conducted with Kendra functionaries and experts including Ashok Atale, L Priyobar, H Sidharth, S Basantkumar, Vivekananda Kendra Anandalaya Acharya teacher M Asha and M Umabati as instructors.

Speaking on the occasion, L Priyobar informed that Vivekananda Kendra Anandalaya Acharya was especially established for imparting yoga lessons to children of the Okshongbung school relief camp.

Participants of the yoga class include IDPs of the relief camp as well as women and children from Panshang Leikai and Okshongbung Leikai.
