ABDWJU lifts ban on news coverage

Bishnupur, July 13 2024: All Bishnupur District Working Journalists' Union (ABDWJU), Bishnupur has lifted the ban on coverage of news from Kwakta area after an understanding was reached during a joint meeting of All Mani pur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU), ABDWJU and All Kwakta Co-Ordinating Committee oh Saturday.

It can be mentioned here that the ABDWJU in its meeting on February 28 resolved to enforce a ban on covering any programme organised in the district related to Kwakta Bazar United Meitei Pangal Committee, Manipur; Forum for Restoration of Peace, Manipur; All Kwakta Co-Ordinating Committee; Meitei Pangal Intellectual Forum; All Meitei Pangal Youth Association and Jamiat Ulema, Bishnupur.
