Haemophilia camp held at JNIMS

Imphal, July 10 2025:
In an effort to support Haemophilia patients, Intas Foundation, Imphal organised one-day physiotherapy, factor distribution & awareness camp under the Haemophilia Patient Assistant Programme (HPAP) at JNIMS Department of Medicine, Porompat on Thursday.
In a release, Intas Foundation informed that the camp was aimed at enhancing awareness on comprehensive care and free medical support, for patients and caregivers.
A physiotherapy session led by JNIMS PMR Department's Dr N Jugindro focused on joint care, mobility improvement, and home-based techniques for haemophilia management.
Clotting Factor VIII was distributed free of cost to registered Haemophilia A patients, ensuring continuity of care and reducing treatment burden, said the release, adding that the awareness session conducted by JNIMS Department of Medicine's Dr Irom Anil Singh addressed early diagnosis, emergency management, and lifestyle tips.
The HPAP is an initiative by Intas Foundation, to empower haemophilia patients across India through education, medical aid, and rehabilitation support, the release added.
