NE NSS Festival 2025 concludes at MU

Imphal, June 06 2025: The five-day North East NSS Festival 2025, hosted by NSS Cell of Manipur University, concluded on Friday with a valedictory ceremony held at the university auditorium.

According to a statement issued by MU NSS Cell programme coordinator, the event marked the successful culmination of a week-long celebration focused on unity, youth empowerment and community service, bringing together NSS volunteers from six northeastern states.

Manipur University registrar in-charge Prof Th Binoy lauded the event as a grand success while NSS Regional Office (NER), Guwahati youth officer NC Deori appreciated the participation of six northeastern states and praised the dedication of programme officers and volunteers.

He underlined the importance of state-level officers in ensuring the success of national programmes.

Cultural competition winners were felicitated during the function.

NSS programme coordinator of Dhanamanjuri University and state youth officers of NYK, Imphal, were also honoured.

Manipur University NSS Cell programme coordinator Dr L Santosh reaffirmed NSS' role in shaping responsible citizens and strengthening youth engagement across the region.

The festival concluded with a collective note of appreciation and unity, reinforcing the spirit of service among the youth, the statement added.
