Lions Club distributes relief materials to flood victims

Lions Club of Manipur shared suffering of 1,790 people of 358 families affected by the recent flood and provided relief materials so far.
As part of Lions Club International District 322, Manipur's continued distribution of relief materials to flood affected people and share their suffering in phase-wise manner, the club distributed relief materials to around 400 flood affected resident of Khurai Soibam Leikai, Imphal East on Friday.
The distribution programme held at Citizens' Club was attended by Wangkhei MLA Th Arunkumar, Lions Club of Manipur district governor Thokchom Keso Singh and Citizens Club president Naorem Mahendra.
Meanwhile, a statement of the club informed that Lions Club International District 322, Manipur that the club has so far distributed relief materials to flood affected victims of many localities of Imphal East district including Khurai Soibam Leikai, Wangkhei Khunou, Khurai Thangjam Leikai, Khurai Heigrumakhong and Heingang Mayai Leikai.
The club also distributed relief materials to flood affected people living under the jurisdiction of TAKDO, Thangmeiband.
Relief materials include rice, lentils, salt, cooking oil, potato, soap, mattress, mosquito net and tarpaulin.
