Imphal, June 30 2025: Office of the Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Manipur, has invited online nominations for the National Awards for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, 2025 .

Instituted by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), the awards recognise outstanding contributions towards the empowerment of persons with disabilities across the country.

According to a DIPR release, all applications/nominations must be submitted exclusively online through the Rashtriya Puraskar Portal (www.awards.gov.in) .

The online submission process began on May 15, 2025, and the deadline for submission is July 15, 2025 .

Detailed guidelines and eligibility criteria can be found on the official websites of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (www.depwsd.gov.in), the Rashtriya Puraskar Portal, and the Social Welfare Department, (https://socialwelfare.mn.gov.in).

Eligible individuals, institutions, and organisations are encouraged to submit their nominations within the stipulated deadline to be considered for this prestigious national recognition.
