13 new cases take Covid caseload to 166

Imphal, June 29 2025:
The state logged 13 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of positive cases to 243, including 98 active cases, according to the latest IDSP report released on Sunday.
The state conducted 50 tests during the reporting period, recording a daily positivity rate of 26.0 per cent.
Imphal West continues to remain the epicentre, accounting for 10 of the 13 new cases, and now stands at a cumulative total of 166 cases from 504 tests since June 16 .
Bishnupur followed with two new infections, while Imphal East reported one new case.
No other district reported fresh cases.
The cumulative positivity rate remains highest in Imphal West, followed by Imphal East and Thoubal.
Districts such as Kamjong, Noney, Pherzawl, and Churachandpur continue to report zero cumulative positive cases.
Meanwhile, 33 patients recovered and were discharged, raising the total number of recoveries to 145 .
A total of 806 samples have been tested since the beginning of new wave, yielding 243 positive cases.
