Medilane Eye Care expands optical chain

Supported by Startup Manipur Scheme for IDP Livelihoods under the Planning Department, Medilane opened a new optical branch at Moirangkhom.
A release issued by Medilane informed that over 40 internally displaced youths have already been employed across various Medilane healthcare and optical branches.
Calling the newly inaugurated Moirangkhom facility as a significant milestone in its ongoing efforts to provide sustainable livelihood opportunities to those in need, the release said the inauguration ceremony was attended by Planning Department joint director Dr RK Tombisana as chief guest, Globizs director and Medilane advisor Roshnikumar Yambem as functional president, and Manipur University Research and Development Cell professor Ch Ibohal Meitei, Shreth Career Institute founder Dr N Shreth Chongtham, Medilane advisor RK Somio and Manipur Technical University registrar Ramananda Nongmeikapan as guests of honour.
Medilane invited the public, civil society, and private sector to join them in rebuild -ing the lives of Manipur's displaced youth.
It also assured that many more IDPs will be given employment opportunities at Medilane in the coming months, as part of its continued commitment to rebuilding lives and fostering community resilience.
