NIOS invites application for exam centres

Imphal, June 24 2025: National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) will conduct its next Public Examination (Theory) for Secondary and Senior Secondary courses in October-November 2025, likely from the first week of October, as per its scheduled calendar.

According to a press release issued by NIOS regional director, the Public Examinations are held twice a year - April-May and October-November, in accordance with the dates fixed by NIOS .

For the upcoming October-November session, the examination centres will be at Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, government or government-aided or private schools or colleges or institutions affiliated with CBSE, ICSE, state boards or universities as per the exam bye-laws of NIOS .

In view of the upcoming examinations, principals and heads of schools or colleges have been requested to apply online for examination centres.

The URL for exam centre registration is https://exams.nios.ac.in , and the norms for exam centres are available on the website.

Applicants must fill up the Bank Undertaking proforma and upload it at the given link.

Additionally, the original Centre Acceptance Form along with the Bank Undertaking, complete in all aspects, must be submitted immediately to the regional centre concerned of NIOS.

The portal for online submission of applications will remain open from June 11 to July 10, 2025, the release informed.
