AT commences plastic waste collection drive

Thoubal, June 21 2025: Arambai Tenggol Unit-III commenced its campaign 'Ereikai Khungangdagi Housi, Mafam Chadana Hundoklamba Plastic Waste Sing Khomjillasi' to collect plastic waste in 15 villages under its jurisdiction at Salungpham Nongdambi River on Saturday.

The campaign, organised by AT Unit-III and Soibam Mangijao Meitei Family, was participated by AT members from the subunits of Salungpham, Sapam, Tentha, and Langathel.

Speaking to media persons in connection with the campaign, AT Unit-III organisation cpmmander Soibam Kishan informed that the unit will conduct the campaign across 15 villages under its jurisdiction, and the collected plastic bottles will then be handed over for recycling.

Stating that the campaign will continue for four to five days, he appealed to the public to extend support to the initiative stressing the importance of public support.
