Ukhrul students on skill-building trip to Delhi University

Imphal, June 19 2025:
As part of the Janjati Immersive Holistic Intervention for Novel Development (JAIHIND) programme, 24 class XII students and two faculty members from four Schools in Ukhrul district are on a two-week educational visit to Delhi University from June 16 to 30 .
The initiative aims to raise awareness about the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) and the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, while also providing exposure to various skill development centres at the university.
The inaugural function of the programme was held on June 17 at the Council Hall of Delhi University and was attended by Ministry of Higher Education secretary and former Manipur chief secretary Vineet Joshi.
He was also honoured by Delhi University vice-chancellor Prof Yogesh Singh during the function, which was held under the overall guidance of Dean of Academics Prof K Ratnabali.
The event was attended by members of the VC's core team, principals of several colleges, faculty from the University and its affiliated colleges, as well as intern students.
