UNACCO School hands out meritorious awards

Imphal, June 16 2025: The 5th UNACCO School Meritorious Awards-2025 presentation ceremony, given by UNACCO School, Meitram to meritorious students of localities near the school including Meitram Awang and Makha Leikai, Bamdiar Awang, Mayai and Makha Leikai, and Ma-lom, was held at school's multipurpose hall on Monday.

The programme was attended by UNACCO DGM Nandeibam Shyamchand Singh, Human Department head K Deepak and Medilane managing director Dr Moirangthem Pibarel as the presidium members.

As part of the event, cash prizes, citations, mementos and shawls were presented to 75 students who secured marks above 60 per cent in the recently held class X and XII examinations.

Speaking on the occasion, N Shyamchand highlighted that the School has been honouring meritorious students of the said localities since 2019, except for gap of 1-2 years due to Covid-19 pandemic.

He expressed hope that the initiative would encourage the students to strive for further excellence in-spite of the prize amount being nominal.
