Makui Khul finally gets connected to internet

Imphal, June 15 2022: Denizens of Makui village, which is located along IT Road in Senapati district, have appreciated the Makui Kumaon Company of Indian Army for ensuring internet connectivity.

In this regard, Makui village chairman L Silkabou stated that the 2500 residents of the village have been living without internet or mobile network connection for a long time.

Although multiple requests were made to mobile service providers, Airtel and Jio to install network towers in the area, no response was given.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, students in the village were unable to attend online classes due to absence of internet connectivity.

The Makui Kumaon Company came to know of the villagers' difficulties and set up a VSAT in the village, thereby ensuring internet connectivity.

Thus, the chairman appreciated the Company for their help and further appealed to the network providers to install network towers in the area as soon as possible.
