MGNREGA, PMAY-G social audit for Takyel GP organised

Imphal, July 05 2025: Social audit Gram Sabha on Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) and PMAY-G for Takyel Gram Panchayat, Imphal West for the year 2023-24 was held at Takyel Kolom Leikai Mayai community hall.

The social audit Gram Sabha organised by Manipur Social Audit Agency on Friday was presided by YPC Takyel Kolom Leikai president Haobijam Shanti Meetei, while social worker N Sobita Devi attended the event as an observer.

During the social audit Gram Sabha, DRP of Manipur Social Audit Agency Zozana Lama presented a detail report about the activities taken up under MGNREGA and PMAY-G in Takyel Gram Panchayat during the financial year 2023-24 and recorded suggestions and complaints from the local people.

The social audit Gram Sabha was also participated by MGNREGA ombudsman Yumnam Laxman Singh, Takyel Zilla Parishad administrative member L Polen Meitei, Takyel Gram Panchayat Administrative Committee chairperson Kh Priyobala Devi, and administrative committee members L Nirupama, L Sudesh Singh, Ng Dinesh Singh and T Sanatombi Devi.

Takyel Gram Panchayat secretary N Bidyalaxmi Devi, SO N Binodini Devi and GRS Ch Suchitra Devi also attended the social audit Gram Sabha as officials.
