Thoubal, August 20 2025: The monthly 'Rural Roots Market' organised by Yainubi Cluster Level Federation, formed under Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM), Thoubal CD Block was inaugurated by Khangabok MLA Okram Surjakumar at Khangabok New Market on Wednesday.

The inauguration of the two-day market, organised by MSRLM for second time to provide a platform for self-help groups to open stalls and sell their products ranging from agricultural produces and textiles to 'Kouna' (water reed) items, was also attended by MSRLM Thoubal CD Block president Thangjam Rediya Devi, MSRLM district mission director and Thoubal deputy commissioner.

Hannah Kamei, ADM Aribam Amarjit Sharma, child protection officer Salam Robindro, DFO Dr Leishangthem Jeeceelee, MSRLM officials and other district level officers.
