KSO felicitates displaced, meritorious students

Kangpokpi, July 13 2025: Kuki Students' Organisation (KSO), Sadar Hills on Thursday honoured around 60 displaced Class X and XII students, who are putting up in various relief camps across Kangpokpi district and cleared the class 10 and 12 examinations, along with 40 other outstanding students who secured above 80 per cent in the recently declared board and council examinations.

Held under the theme 'The right steps will always lead to success', the district-level felicitation programme also featured a special career guidance session attended by social worker Dr Lamtinthang Haokip, United People's Front (UPF) spokesperson Aaron Kipgen, and Gunchu Coaching Institute, Kangpokpi proprietor Thangboi Haokip.

Community leaders and representatives of student bodies hailed the success of the young-students, particularly the displaced ones, as a shining example of resilience triumphing over adversity.

The programme concluded with a blessing feast, turning the gathering into a vibrant celebration of victory over hardship and a reaffirmation of the community's collective dream of a brighter and stronger future.
