Two-day talent hunt competition begins at CAU

Imphal, May 10 2025:
A two-day talent hunt competition organised by Rashtriya Kala Manch, Manipur has begun on Saturday at the College of Agriculture, Imphal.
In a release, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Manipur (ABVP) informed that the event aims to provide young and budding artists a platform to showcase their talents and promote cultural expression among the youth.
The programme was attended by Manipur University of Culture vice-chancellor Prof Paonam Gunindro as chief guest, ABVP state president Prof Premlata Meisnam as guest of honour, and Rashtriya Kala Manch national co-convener Victoria Salam.
On the first day, a solo dance competition was held with a total of 39 participants from 29 different campuses, ranging from primary to Class 12.Malemnganba Angom bagged the first position, while Vandy Thounaojam and Khomdram Roshi secured the second and third positions respectively.
