Meritorious students felicitated

Kakching, June 29 2025: A felicitation function for students of Lamjao, who cleared the High School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLC)-2025 conducted by Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM) and Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) 2025 by Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM), was organised by Khunggang Shemgat Shagatpa Lup (KSSL), Lamjao; Peace Keeping and Protection Committee (PKAPC), Lamjao; and Lamjao Apunba Meira Paibee at Panthoibi Shanglen, Lamjao Mayai Leikai on Sunday.

The programme was attended by youth affairs and sports (YAS) director & joint secretary (home) Dr Mayengbam Veto, KSSL president Th Ibomcha, Kakching SP Priyadarshini Laishram, Lamjao Apunba Meira Paibee president Yumnam Ibeni Leima, World Meetei Council, Manipur president Urikhinbam Kunjo Meetei and local elders and residents.

Similarly, Ideal Pioneer's Club, Kakching Ningthou Leikai honoured meritorious students, who passed class X and XII exams 2025 conducted by BSEM, COHSEM and CBSE at Shree Radha Krishna Mandir, in the presence of Education (S) secretary Naorem Praveen Singh, Kakching Municipal Council Ward No 8 caretaker councillor Moirangthem Inakhunbi Devi, Kakching ex-MLA Thokchom Tomba, and retired headmaster Pukhrambam Chaoba Meitei as dignitaries on the dais.

Meanwhile, Academic Incentive Award Committee (AIACO), Mayang Imphal felicitated students of Mayang Imphal area, who scored top marks in the class X and XII exams, at Khuman multipurpose hall, Mayang Imphal.

The function was attended by Mayang Imphal MLA Kongkham Robindro as chief guest, AIACO Mayang Imphal president Chongtham Ashokumar as president, and AIACO donor and veterinary and animal husbandry retired director Dr Chabungbam Nandakishore Singh as guest of honour.
