Lt Siddharth, Lt Danish, F/O Lucky feted

Bishnupur/Kakching, June 27 2025: Lieutenant Thokchom Siddharth Singh of Ningthoukhong, who recently passed out from the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun, was felicitated by Radha Madhav Yaoshang Sports Committee at Ningthoukhong on Thursday.

Speaking as chief guest, Bishnupur MLA Govindas Konthoujam hailed Lt Siddharth on being commissioned in the Indian Army, stating that his achievement is a moment of pride for all.

Wishing Siddharth the very best in his future endeavours, the MLA also hoped that Siddharth's feat would inspire other youths to serve the nation.

The event was also attended by family members of Siddharth and functionaries of Radha Madhav Yaoshang Sports Committee.

A felicitation cum media interaction programme was also held, for flying officer Mayanglambam Lucky alias Nikhil and lieutenant Mayanglambam Denish, who have been commissioned into the Indian armed forces, at Kakching Mayai Leikai on Thursday.

F/O M Lucky is the son of M Kiran and Kiranmala of Kakching Makha Leikai Naodam Bazar.

He passed out from Indian Air Force Academy, Dundai Hyderabad, Telangana.

Lt M Denish is the son of M Manihar and M Pushpa of Kakching Paji Leikai.

He has been commissioned as lieutenant in the Indian Army after completing the course at IMA, Dehradun.

Speaking to media persons, M Lucky expressed gratitude to his parents, teachers and local elders for his achievement.

Chipping in, Lt M Denish observed that students should have aim in life and vigorously pursue the same.
