Workshop on 'Kanglei Umang Lai Haraoba' begins

Thoubal, May 27 2025: A seven-day workshop on 'Kanglei Umang Lai Haraoba' organised by Nongpok Ningthou Apanthoibi Trust began at Ibudhou Ibendhou -- Nongpok Ningthou Apanthoibi shrine, near Thoubal Nongpokching Power House on Tuesday.

The workshop was inaugurated with Sana Konung Utra Shanglen customs secretary Th Ibungohal as chief guest and Apanthoibi Trust president Puyamcha Shamu Meitei as president.

While SAI, Imphal retired assistant director K Michael and Utra Shanglen 'Yoiren Hanjaba' Mayengbam Chingkheihunba were guests of honour.

The workshop will feature deliberations and presentation of papers on relevant topics by Mayengbam Chingkhei of Utra Shanglen, UKAL general secretary M Maniton and Dr Th Ruhichand of MUC Department of Culture.
