AR saves 130 kids from food poisoning

In a remarkable display of dedication and quick response, Assam Rifles saved the lives of 130 children (22 boys and 108 girls) on Sunday, following a severe food poisoning outbreak at Eklavya School, Moreh, Tengnoupal district, said PRO IGAR (S) in a release.
As per the release, an AR medical team immediately rushed to the site with essential medicines and medical supplies on being alerted by the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Moreh.
Guided by the AR medical officer and in coordination with the Tengnoupal chief medical officer, the team worked tirelessly alongside PHC staff to stabilise the affected children.
Personnel from Moreh Battalion of AR ensured seamless coordination and effective care.
This joint effort by AR and medical authorities resulted in the timely stabilisation of all 130 young lives, turning a potential tragedy into a testament of hope and resolve, said the PRO.
