Imphal, May 15 2025: A workshop on "How to Write a Research Proposal and Research Report" was successfully conducted at GP Women's College, Imphal on Wednesday.

The workshop was organised by the Department of Home Science in collaboration with IQAC, GP Women's College, Dhanamanjuri University, Imphal.

The workshop was graced by dignitaries, including Prof L Rajen Singh, Principal, GP Women's College; Dr Thokchom Diana, Head of Department (PG) and Th Priyadarshini, Head of Department (UG).

The event was coordinated by Dr Sumati Rajkumari, Dr Ksh Bimolata Devi, Dr Khwairakpam Sharmila and Dr Laitonjam Valentina.

Speaking on the occasion as the resource person, Prof Hanjabam Shukhdeba Sharma, Director, College Development Council, Manipur University, shared valuable insights on the fundamentals of research methodology, components of an effective research proposal, and the structure and presentation of a research, report.

The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, researchers, and faculty members.

Held in a vibrant academic atmosphere, the workshop aimed to strengthen research skills among young scholars and empower them with practical strategies for academic writing.
