Kakching Khunou College celebrates foundation day

Kakching, July 13 2025: The 44th foundation day celebration of Kakching Khunou College was held at the college's Sivananda Memorial Hall on Saturday.

The celebration organised by Kakching Khunou College Academic Committee and Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was attended by principal Oinam Binoy as chief guest, academic in-charge M Iboyaima as president, and education department former head, assistant professor Kshetrimayum Chaoba Singh, as guest of honour.

Former principals P Ibetombi, Dr M Sar-da, N Mohendro and Dr P Memcha, and ex-faculty members H Gokulchandra, N Ningthou, M Rajen, O Nabakeshwar, M Tombi, Md Helim Shah, Dr M Sunitibala, Dr L Ibechoubi and Md Anwar, and former non-teaching staffers M Shanta, M Ibochouba, M Ibothem, Th Ibotombi, Kh Ratankumar, Th Tomba, Kh Kadam and Kh Ibomcha also shared the dais.

The programme was marked by the observance of a two-minute silence in memory of the college's departed founders and staff members, along with sharing of thoughts by various speakers on the journey of the college.
