Extramarks opens SIP at Active School

Imphal, May 09 2025: Extramarks on Friday opened its School Integrated Programme (SIP) in the state with the aim of facilitating students attend coaching classes in preparation for the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) and NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test).

The first-ever SIP of Extramarks will commence from Active School, Naoremthong Shamushang, with plans to expand to other schools at different places of Manipur, informed Extramarks Manipur programme manager Aribam Chittaranjan.

According to Chittaranjan, students of Manipur need to acquire quality education in view of the global changes in the field of education, particularly increasing use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in teaching and learning.

With the National Education Policy (NEP), 2020 focusing on AI utilisation to ensure quality education for students, introduction of the SIP will provide a new perspective of learning to students of Manipur, he expressed, pointing out that SIP will help ease problems faced by students in seeking coaching facilities to prepare for competitive examinations.
