Kakching, May 05 2025: The District Level Yoga Olympiad 2025 was organised by Zonal Education Office, Kakching on Sunday at Kakching Higher Secondary School.

Experts from Kakching District Yogasana Sports Association served as judges for the event, which saw participation of students from across the district.

In the Class VI to VIII Girls' competition, Thongam Lanchenbi Chanu and Mamta Thokchom of Kakching Higher Secondary School secured the first and second position respectively, while Hijam Thoi Devi of Langmeidong Higher Secondary School finished third.

In the boys' competition of the same age group, Golmeiga Golmei of Kakching Model High School claimed the first prize, followed by Shougaijam Bidyananda Singh and Mayanglambam Ayush Singh, both of Kakching Higher Sec-ondary School, in second and third place respectively.

Meanwhile, Ch Hera Singh of Langmeidong Higher Secondary School was adjudged winner in the class IX to X boys' competition.

The winners of each category will represent Kakching district at the State Level Yoga Olympiad 2025 .
