Application invited for Handloom Expo

Imphal, August 22 2022: Manipur Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation (MHHDC) Ltd has invited applications indicating names, address, Aadhaar number, Weaver Card No., Handloom Mark, bank account number with IFSC, contact number, etc., from intending handloom weavers, entrepreneurs, society or organisation for participation in the State Handloom Expo to be organised under the sponsorship of the Development Commissioner for Handlooms, Union Ministry of Textiles.

In a notification,,MHHDC Ltd managing director E Jeeten Singh said that the Expo will be held at GM Hall, here from September 4 till 17 and only 60 stalls will be allotted.

Selected participants will be paid TA/DA as per the guidelines of the scheme.

Last date for submission of application is August 30 and no further request will be entertained after the last date in any case.

Personal interview will be conducted on August 31 at 10.00 am, it added.

The notification further mentioned that interested handloom weavers, entrepreneurs, society or organisation can submit their application to MHHDC Ltd office at Paona Bazar.
