Ministry team reviews central projects in Kakching

Kakching, July 18 2025:
The district administration on Friday held an exit meeting with the National Level Monitors (NLMs) at the Kakching deputy commissioner's office, to mark the end of Phase I of Regular Monitoring 2025-26 of various rural development schemes in the district.
The monitoring was conducted by officials from the Ministry of Rural Development, as part of a nationwide exercise to assess the performance and ground - level implementation of its flagship programmes.
The monitoring team, comprising Khalil Ahmad Khan and Mridul Baruah, visited eight Gram Panchayat in Kakching district.
Under Kakching Block, the team inspected Hayel Rangoon, Irengband, and Keirak, while under Langmeidong Block, they visited Mayeng Lamjao, Waikhong, Chairel, Langmeidong, and Serou.
The schemes monitored included the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS), Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana -National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM), Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY), Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana - Gramin (PMAY-G), National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP), Pradhan Mantri Grant Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY), Rural Self Employment Training Institutes (RSE-TI), Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana - Watershed Development Component (PMKSY-WDC), and Djgital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP) .
It may be noted that the monitoring began on July 9, 2025 with an entry meeting held at the deputy commissioner's office.
The meeting was attended by deputy commissioner Rohit Anand and district-level officers.
