Imphal, July 15 2025: Agriculture Department has announced distribution of urea fertiliser to farmers at 45 locations across Imphal West, Imphal East, Bishnupur, and Thoubal districts, from July 16 till 31 .

According to a statement from director (Agriculture) Peter Salam, urea fertiliser will be distributed at Khonghampat, Kumbi, Borayangbi, Chairel Mangjil, Wangoo, Kumbi Naodakhong, Okram Chuthek, Jubaraj Pali Takhok Mapal on July 16; on July 17 at Sekmai Koujengleima, Haraorou, Kwakta bazar, Heirok and Nongpok Sekmai; on July 18 at Khongman Zone-4, Kongba Irong, Tekcham, Naransena and Phumlou; on July 21 at Changangei, Andro, Wangkhem Bishnunaha and Leimapokam; on July 22 at Moirangpurel, Salungpham and Heinoubok; on July 24 at Luwangsangbam, Lilong Haoreibi, Wabagai, Heikrujam and Utlou; on July 25 at Hiyanglam, Waikhong, Thongjao, Kakching, Wangjing, Lamdeng and Mongjam; on July 28 at Yairipok Yambem, Sugnu bazar, Kakching Chumnang, Mayanglangjing, Pangaltabi and Kakching; on July 29 at Kakching Khunou and Kyamgei; on July 30 at Naorem Leikai, Chongabi and Kamong; and on July 31 at Thoubal Moijing, Khangabok Wangbal and Chingarel.

Farmers are advised to bring their Aadhaar cards and land documents or tenant certificates at the time of collecting urea fertiliser, which can also be obtained from their respective district agriculture officers.

Further urea distribution camps may be organised if necessary, it said.
