Top USER honours for state lad

Imphal, August 12 2025: Laishram Librada Singh of Yairipok Tulihal Laishram Leikai in Thoubal district has secured two prestigious academic awards at the 5th Convocation of the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (USER), Berhampur, held on August 11 at Laudigam, Odisha.

Librada was awarded the Shri Durgadas Mohanty Memorial Gold Medal and the Proficiency Silver Medal for achieving the highest Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) in the Department of Physical Sciences in the institute's BSMS dual degree programme.

A consistent academic performer, Librada had earlier secured the third position in the High School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLCE), 2017 conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM), and topped the Higher Secondary Examination (Science stream), 2019 conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (GoHSEM).

In addition to his academic pursuits, Librada is actively involved in youth development and academic initiatives.

He is currently serving as the assistant HR Executive of MitSna Foundation and also an important member of Bookcorner, a subsidiary of MitSna.

MitSna extended its heartfelt congratulations to Librada for his exceptional achievements and wished him success in all his future endeavours.

MitSna Foundation is a community-based youth initiative working to empower students and young professionals through education, mentorship, and capacity-building programmes.

It strives to create opportunities for academic growth, skill development, and social impact across Manipur and beyond.
