Training on natural dyeing techniques begins

A three-day training programme on "Natural Dyeing Techniques: Sustainable colour from Nature" organised by office of Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Chandel commenced at Lambung village community hall, Chandel district on Tuesday.
The inaugural function of the training programme held under Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) scheme was attended by Chandel ADC Md Firoz Khan and DFO Dr Naorem Munal Meitei as chief guest and president respectively while Chandel DIC general manager Th Bijoy Singh, Lambung Village Authority secretary Pearson, RAMP State Programme Implementing Unit consultants Sh Ruhikumar Singh and Gouri Sangker Behra and chief trainer Wanhring were the guests of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Munal pointed out that no country can progress without the growth of industries.
"If we truly want to develop our state and nation, we must work diligently and with dedication.
It is important to undergo training that aligns with changing times, produce goods that appeal to the public, and identify suitable markets to sell these products.
In this regard, today's training is crucial, especially as natural dyes, which are abundantly available, offer great potential," he said.
