Greenland College of Nursing week begins

Senapati, May 05 2025: The first ever College Week of Greenland College of Nursing commenced at Katomei Ground, Senapati on Monday.

The institution has been offering BSc Nursing and GNM courses with over 70 students enrolled at present.

The inaugural function of the college week was held with Senapati District Students' Association (SDSA) president A Saloni Tony as chief guest, College principal Dr Lalneikim as function al president and director D Mercy Chiru as guest of honour.

Speaking on the occasion, Saloni Tony expressed elation over having such institution in Senapati district and providing opportunity to the district's youth in pursuing nursing course.

Tony stressed that college week is not only about winning but about the effort one puts, commitment, dedication and learning and discovering oneself to excel in any field.

He also noted that apart from professional courses, sports and extra-curricular activities can develop life skills.
