Imphal, September 02 2024: The Manipur branch of New Delhi-based International Human Rights Protection Council (IHRPC) has been constituted along with a meeting held on Tuesday at Sangaiprou Lane-5 .

A release issued by the Council's Manipur branch informed that a legal awareness programme was conducted with advocate Kongbam Joychandra of Wangkhei Ningthem Pukhri Mapal as speaker cum chief guest of the launch event along with stating that 25 human rights activists under the Council resolved to proactively work on issues pertaining to prevention of child labour, uphold women's and human rights in collaboration with the establishment.

The Council also sought public support to its activities.
