Army dedicates computer lab to CCpur village

In its efforts to empower communities by enhancing their access to education and technology, Indian Army inaugurated a newly constructed computer laboratory under Operation Sadbhavana in S Kawtlian village of Churachandpur district on Saturday.
While expressing that the laboratory will fulfil essential requirement of a modern computer training facility in the area, PRO Defence said in a release that the project has been conceived on request of S Kawtlian villagers and adjacent villages.
According to the PRO, the inauguration ceremony was attended by S Kawtlian village chief, along with chiefs of nearby villages in the presence of Senapati Brigade commander.
The new facility equipped with seven computers, printer, projector and other necessary accessories will provide students and residents with modern tools to enhance digital literacy and help improve the youth's prospects by equipping them with valuable information technology skills, it said.
