Awareness on Yoga held in Kakching

Kakching, June 15 2025: A yoga awareness-cum-demonstration programme was organised by Anandasing Yoga & Nature Cure Research Hospital, Machin Manao Chinglak in association with Indian Red Cross Society, Kakching Branch at Angaan Ching Eco Park in Kakching on Sunday.

The programme was held as part of the 'Harit Yoga' which began on June 5 in connection with the International Yoga Day under the sponsorship of Central Council for Research in Yoga & Naturopathy (CCRYN) New Delhi.

"Held under the theme "Yoga for One Earth, One Health", the programme was presided over by Kha Manipur Yoga and Nature Cure Association (KHAMYNCA), Kakching secretary and IRCS Kakching chairman Dr Mayanglambam Rajkumar.

Alliance for Development Alternate Manipur (ADAM), Kakching secretary Surjit Kshetrimayum, Herbal Kingdom Manipur project director and Patanjali Yoga Samiti Manipur state head Dr Nongmaithem Rajendra and Kakching District Yogasana Sports Association general secretary and yoga instructor Naorem Aken were the resource persons of the programme, which also featured a yoga demonstration led by Naorem Aken and Kakching District Yogasana Sports Association coach Moirangthem Jibanlata.
