Rongmei forum sanitises Jadonang park

Noney, August 14 2025: The Rongmei Film Forum (Assam, Manipur & Nagaland) conducted a cleanliness drive on Wednesday at Haipou Jadonang Memorial Park, Keishampat, Imphal.

The programme was held in connection with the upcoming observance of the 94th Death Anniversary of Haipou Jadonang (freedom fighter & social reformer), which will take place on August 29, 2025 .

During the cleanliness drive, Lantalung Golmei, general secretary of the Rongmei Film Forum, along with members - including singers, musicians, actors, actresses, makeup artists, and others - participated in the programme.

Furthermore, the Rongmei Film Forum (AMN) urged the state government to increase efforts in upgrading the freedom fighter's park, ensuring proper maintenance, and appointing a regular caretaker to look after the park's upkeep.
